The mask is a working method as much as an image: it keeps the music from being judged on a face, and keeps his other life, he also teaches at university, separate from the records. On stage, that leaves a single lit silhouette and the piano.

Masked rapper and composer from Geneva, Empty7 works where rap, neo-classical music and film score meet, a lane he is largely alone in occupying in French-speaking music. A pianist since the age of four, raised on Bach, Debussy, Beethoven and Hans Zimmer, he started releasing music in 2019 and is a member of the Geneva collective 121.
